My Dream.....

I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. I would bandage my babies up with whatever I could find, I would wrap my own arm or leg up in an ace bandage and tell my mom I wanted to go to school with it because I was hurt. I helped my mom give my little brother shots, medicine and I went to doctor appointments with them. I loved the hospital, I liked the hussle and bussle of everyone around me. When I got older I went to school and got my CNA and I loved to take care of other people and see how happy they were when you would help them. What I didn't realize when I was little was that I would fall in love with someone that I wanted to take care of more than anyone else. Being a stay at home wife is something that I truly love and am so grateful I get to be. Don't get me wrong I love to be a nurse 2 days a week but I love being a wife more. I love that I get to make our house into a home. I love that I get to clean our home so that the spirit is always welcomed. I love to cook and bake and try new things in the kitchen. I love it when Andrew comes home and has a big smile on his face because he knows that there is going to be dinner on the table and something sweet for dessert. I love that I get to do that for him because he wakes up so early and works so hard for me so that I can someday be a stay at home mom.

One of my latest dishes in the kitchen was homemade white chicken chili with homemade tortilla chips. Compliments of Our Best Bites!

And for dessert also compliments of Our Best Bites was Strawberry-Lime Shortcakes with Coconut Cream

You will have to try these recipes they were great. I love Our Best Bites, go check them out at ourbestbites.com

I just loved that post! I can't wait until I am a mother! Yes, just like you, I am working on a job/career, but what I really want to be is a mother, wife, and a best friend to my husband and kids. Thank you! :) I miss you Stephanie and I hope you are doing well!
