Labor Day Weekend

So my birthday tends to fall on Labor Day a lot so we get to do fun stuff for the weekend every year, which I love.  This year we decided to go to Jackson Hole and float the river and go to Bar J Wranglers.  We had such a great time.  My family used to go rafting down the river but we haven't done it in a while so we packed up our swimming suits and we were off.  Andrew got to sit on the front of the raft with his legs hanging off the front, the guide called it his YeeHaa position.  He got to ride the raft like that through what is called "Death Chains" He said it was a blast.  For the next adventure I got to stand up on the front of the raft while everyone else spun the raft around in a circle.  I did ok but I was a little nervous.  My mom got to do it too but she was a little nervous herself she held on to Justice and Andrew the whole time. 
Then we went and walked through some of the shops in Jackson before we had to go to the Bar J Wranglers.  If you haven't been to the Bar J Wranglers you should go, if you like country music, poetry, and comedy.  I love stuff like that.  We had a great dinner, Andrew got the Rib Eye steak and I got a combo of Bar BQ chicken and beef.  It was divine.  Then we were on our way home.  It was a busy weekend but a very fun weekend too.

I was so excited to get a picture next to Ben Franklin, but Andrew thought I was nuts. I think he tried to walk far enough ahead of us so that other people didn't know we were related.  Crazy kid!!

So Andrew is so sweet, for my birthday he made me dinner and wouldn't let me come in the kitchen to help cook or clean up.  Then he made me a cake.  He likes to do creative things with my cake. Last year he made a homemade ice cream cake which was really good and this year he made a marble cake with white and chocolate cake.  We went for a ride up in the mountains and then we played a game.  I love just hanging out with my hubby!!
